Music:What Does it Mean
By my late great friend Silvio Trancredi
My early visual attractions to deep and intense colors and my love for the sound of music to my ears—where my first inspirational influences. Deep colorful imagery and contrasting perspectives that trigger a wide scope of emotions, are still primary ingredients in my work. The digital domaine has allowed me to influence my styles and imagery in ways that transgress and evolve into uncharted realms of perspective and new meaning.
The purpose of this site is to collectively integrate a selected assemblage of gifted individuals in order to explore and expand their creative potential and further their influence on to the vast horizon of worthy appreciation.
Back in the Day
After attending the High School of Art and Design in New York City, I found my first creative home—the original Nuyorican Poets Cafe on East 6th Street. There, along with Poet Professor Miguel Algarin I was exposed to the most inclusive, prolific and originative of artistic universes. We seeded a creative revolution of expressionist freedom that still lingers to this day. Alvin Ailey, Allen Ginsberg, Peri Thomas, Amiri Baraka—just to name a few, were all influential in my spiritual search for harmonic balance and visual perfection. Live music, theater, video, film, art and poetry where the elements of my creative universe that continuously surrounded and nurtured me.
